volunteers
Volunteers earn the opportunity to pre-shop the sale. The earlier you get to shop our sale, the more selection & better deals you will find. The more shifts you volunteer to work, the earlier you can shop. If you are looking to increase your seller percentage please find out how here.
Volunteer sign up is located at the top of this page; just click the gray button; if you get an error message please try again next week as we may not have our volunteer sign up active yet. All volunteers (dads, moms, grandmothers, grandfathers, friends, neighbors) are welcomed and friends and relatives can 'gift' you some or all of their hours so you can shop earlier. We love bilingual volunteers, however, all volunteers must be able to speak and understand English.
What will you be asked to do? A lot goes into a volunteer-run sale. A few of the things you might be asked to do are:
Volunteers who have physical conditions that may impede their work are welcome to sign-up for those shifts that do not require heavy lifting or standing. We also ask that you notify our volunteer coordinator of any physical restrictions by Sept 10. Set up and take down shifts will require lifting and carrying.
Pre-Sale Restrictions:
If a volunteer is 'gifting' their volunteer hours to another person for shopping purposes, they must notify the volunteer coordinator 48 hours before the presale. The volunteer coordinator generates the list of people allowed to shop at the volunteer presale and if the recipients of your hours are not on her list, they will not be able to shop.
